ASB: Reckless teen on stolen off-road bike arrested by officers after pursuit 🚨 🏍️ 

An intelligence led crackdown on illegal and dangerous off road bikes has led to eight seizures across Doncaster, after neighbourhood officers joined forces with our Motorcycle and Rural Crime Team and the National Police Air Service (NPAS).

Footage captured by National Police Air Service HQ during the operation showed the reckless behaviour of riders putting innocent people at risk.

One teenager was seen weaving through traffic, speeding through a park and abandoning his bike and clothing in bushes - but with NPAS tracking his every move, both were recovered. When officers moved in, the 17-year-old assaulted an officer before being arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, driving without insurance, assaulting an emergency worker and other offences. 

The operation resulted in the seizure of two electric bikes, three e-scooters, a pit bike, a quad bike and a stolen motorbike, targeting priority areas, including Edlington, Conisbrough, Denaby, Mexborough, Dunscroft and Dunsville.
