Stolen motorbike found within a few hours

On Saturday in Thorne, a motorbike decided to go on an unscheduled adventure… unfortunately, without it's owner!

Thankfully, thanks to a quick call to our force control room and some solid police work, the bike's short joyride was cut short and it's now safely back where it belongs - with someone who actually has the keys!

A reminder that while thieves might think they're fast, they're rarely faster than good information, teamwork and a determined police response!

Always lock your bike, use a a quality chain handlebar lock - keep your garages and shed's locked, install motion lighting or CCTV where possible, and don't leave keys or valuables in easy reach.
