Recovered and Returned

Two vehicles stolen recently have now been safely recovered in Thorne following routine checks.

One was a box van found using cloned plates and linked to the theft of goods worth over £50,000 - disguising a vehicle doesn't stop it from being identified.

The second vehicle had been stolen from an address in Doncaster and has now been returned to it's rightful owner.

Enquiries are on-going to identify those involved in the thefts.

Help protect your vehicle:

• Always lock your vehicle and remove keys, even for short stops
• Use additional security such as steering wheel locks or trackers
• Park in well-lit areas or secure compounds where possible
• Report suspicious activity of vehicles straight away
