Thorne Gala

Today (Saturday) officers from your Doncaster East neighbourhood policing team have been at the Thorne gala which has taken place at the Memorial Park in Thorne.

Officers were on hand to chat with members of the public, answer questions, provide crime prevention advice and give away crime prevention freebies!

One of the highlights for many of the families that attended was the chance for children (and adults!) to sit inside a police van, try on police hats and learn about the equipment that we use.

It has been a fantastic day, we are back there tomorrow (Sunday) between 10am and 4pm - come and see us!
