We have been made aware of fires being started in the Shaw Wood area of Armthorpe. As you can see from the images, this has caused parts of the woodland to be destroyed. 

This kind of behaviour is unbelievably dangerous and the consequences could be huge!

This had has a big impact on the local community, emergency services and wildlife in the area.

Doncaster East Neighbourhood Officers will be patrolling the area on foot and cycles to prevent further incidents and offer reassurance to those enjoying the woodland.
