Doncaster East Police Community Support Officers were on patrol in Dunscroft and Dunsville yesterday, trying to tackle antisocial behaviour on Quarry Park.

We have recently seen an increase in the number of off road bikes being used in and around Quarry Park. 

Our PCSOs took the opportunity to have a walk in the sunshine and offer some Police visibility inside the park. From a distance they saw the sun reflecting from what appeared to be a couple of motorbikes. 

The officers took their time, knowing that if the group spotted them, they would jump on the bikes and disappear out of sight..

Slowly the officers made their way across the park, much to their surprise when the group spotted the officers it was too late!! The group had a choice to make, run for freedom and leave the bike, or accept what was coming…..

Off they ran, leaving two bikes that have now been identified as stolen. 

Quarry Park is a beautiful green space, please lets work together to keep it that way! If you witness any ASB or use of off road bikes on Quarry Park, please continue to report it to SYP via 101, SYP website or in an emergency 999.
