The pictured Ford Transit Connect was spotted travelling along Cow House lane, Armthorpe this afternoon.

After a road traffic stop and a few checks on the details provided by the driver, it turned out he only held a provisional licence. 

The driver was the only person in the van, and no sign of L plates on display.

The vehicle has been seized under operation Takeaway, and the driver reported for the Road traffic offences.
