Cross Border Work - Arrest

At around 9pm on Monday 6th January a vehicle being driven on the A18 in the direction of Scunthorpe failed to stop for Doncaster East officers - information was passed to colleagues in Humberside who conducted some local checks on the vehicle and the potential occupants which led to the vehicle being located and sighted again the next morning in Scunthorpe.

Humberside pursued the vehicle back towards South Yorkshire, but the vehicle came to a stop back at Crowle roundabout with four of the vehicle's occupants decamping the vehicle - two of the occupants detained after a foot pursuit - both males were arrested for dangerous driving, failing to stop for Police and possession of Class B drugs.

Another great example of cross-border working with our colleagues in Humberside.
