Following concerns raised from members of the Moorends community we have undertaken a further speeding operation in an area of high concern.

On Marshland Road in Moorends, 45 vehicles were monitored with four drivers dealt with for contravening the 30mph speed limit.

There are two primary schools very near to this location, those who contravened the speed limit were reminded of this.

When driving, a few miles per hour can mean the difference between life and death. 

The faster someone drives, the less time they have to stop if something unexpected happens.

These speeding operations will continue, and we will continue to publish the results.
