Officers on mobile patrol in marked and unmarked vehicles came across the blue BMW below as it was being driven through Thorne town centre - over the past few days the vehicle had been linked to a number of shop thefts in and around Thorne.

Eagle eyed officers in an unmarked vehicle followed the vehicle as it made it's way onto King Street in Thorne before the driver decided to stop and park his vehicle in an unusual place - the vehicle was seized and so the driver will be dealt with for a number of road traffic related offences including driving without insurance and driving not in accordance with a licence.
