Last week officers from your Doncaster East local neighbourhood policing team executed a warrant in Thorne following information and concerns from members of the local community that the occupants of the address were potentially selling offensive weapons and explosives via an online marketplace.

Following some local and national intelligence gathering a warrant was obtained and officers gained entry to the property and located a large haul of military uniform and related replica military equipment.

A firearm was seized to which the owner will be dealt with by way of a prosecution.
