Officers on patrol in and around Thorne last night had their attention drawn towards a vehicle that was parked up contravening a one-way street. Officers approached the vehicle and the driver was found to be in possession of a quantity of drugs believed to be Class A and a quantity of cash.

The male was arrested and taken to Doncaster custody suite where he was interviewed and bailed as there are a number of forensic enquiries required before the matter can be referred to CPS.
