PC Barrowcliffe and PC Sharp were in attendance at today's career fair at the Trinity Academy in Thorne. 

Pupils from each year group were given the opportunity to ask questions regarding the day to day role of a police officer - many also tried their hand at wearing some of the uniform!

Every day, officers make a positive impact on the lives of others, whether by apprehending criminals, assisting victims of crime, or simply lending a compassionate ear to someone in need. 

Applications for our Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) are currently open, and we're holding a recruitment event for anyone who's interested.

The event will take place on Thursday 8 February from 6.00 - 8.00pm at the Sharrow Community forum at The Old Junior School, South View Road, Sheffield, where you will gain an understanding of what life as a student police officer could look like.

There will be an opportunity for anyone who might be interested in the role to hear from current PCDA officers, as well as assessors from the Central Assessment and Practice Education team (CAPE).
