Late on in the shift, PC Whitworth and PC Graham were on mobile patrol in Dunscroft when their attention was drawn towards the driver of a Mercedes due to it's manner of driving, the driver was requested to stop which he failed to do so. After a short pursuit the vehicle came to a stop and the male driver ran from his vehicle, after a short foot pursuit the male was detained – he was also in possession of drugs believed to be both Class A and Class B. The male failed a roadside drugs wipe so was further arrested for driving whilst unfit. The male was transported to Doncaster custody suite to be interviewed.
