On Thursday 2nd May, East Neighbourhood officers were joined by our South colleagues to execute a warrant in Kirk Sandall. 

We have been carrying out a lot of work on a possible cannabis set up in an industrial unit on the Sandall Stones industrial site in Kirk Sandall. 

We obtained a warrant from a Magistrate on Thursday, giving us the power to force entry into the unit.

On entering the unit we found a large cannabis set up, containing approximately 150 plants.

One male was arrested from the site and has now been charged and remanded into custody.

It is estimated value of the cannabis will be around £150,000.
