The vehicle below was seen this morning driving in a dangerous manner around Thorne. 

The vehicle was requested to stop by our officers but the driver decided to take off at speed. The vehicle failed to stop so a pursuit began. The driver of the vehicle entered an area that has a speed limit of 20mph at excessive speed, he began cutting corners and driving at speed over speed bumps that are designed to slow drivers down. 

The driver then made the decision to abandon his vehicle and make off into a nearby property.

Following some quick time CCTV enquiries the driver of the vehicle was located and detained. 

The driver had no driving licence, no vehicle insurance and also failed a roadside drug test for cocaine - the driver was subsequently taken through to Doncaster custody where an evidential blood sample was obtained, this will now be sent away for forensic analysis.
